Electronic Filing and Digital Preservation
The Journal of Commerce, Management and Tourism Studies (JCMTS) is committed to ensuring the long-term preservation, integrity, accessibility, and availability of its published scholarly content through appropriate electronic filing, digital archiving, and preservation practices.
The journal recognizes the importance of preserving the scholarly record and ensuring that published research remains accessible to readers, researchers, educators, professionals, and the wider academic community. To support this commitment, JCMTS maintains its publications in electronic format through its online journal platform, enabling readers to access published articles and journal issues.
JCMTS aims to support the long-term preservation of its digital content through appropriate archiving arrangements and recognized digital preservation services. Where applicable, the journal may utilize the Public Knowledge Project Preservation Network (PKP PN) or other recognized digital preservation systems to safeguard its published content against data loss, website disruption, or the discontinuation of journal operations. Participation in any specific preservation service is subject to verification of the journal’s enrollment and active status.
In addition, JCMTS encourages the electronic archiving and dissemination of its published articles through institutional repositories, academic databases, and other scholarly platforms, subject to the journal’s policies, copyright provisions, and the requirements of the respective services. Information regarding indexing coverage, repository deposits, and digital preservation arrangements will be presented transparently and updated to reflect the journal’s verified participation and actual practices.
Through these initiatives, JCMTS seeks to safeguard its scholarly contributions, promote continuity in academic communication, and facilitate the long-term discoverability and accessibility of research in commerce, management, tourism, and related disciplines.
The journal is committed to periodically reviewing and improving its electronic filing and digital preservation practices to support reliable access to its publications and maintain alignment with recognized standards of scholarly publishing.
