Author Processing Charges (APC)

Article Submission Charge: No Charge (IDR 0.00)

JCMTS does not impose any Article Submission Charge. The submission of manuscripts to the Journal of Commerce, Management and Tourism Studies (JCMTS) is completely free of charge. Authors are not required to pay any submission fee when submitting their manuscripts for consideration and peer review. The journal is committed to ensuring that the submission process remains accessible to all authors without financial barriers.

Fast-Track Review Charge: No Charge (IDR 0.00)

JCMTS does not impose any Fast-Track Review Charge. The fast-track review service is free of charge, and authors are not required to pay an additional fee to request expedited editorial handling. The review process, editorial decision, and author notification are conducted in accordance with the journal's editorial procedures and the availability of reviewers. Although the journal strives to process manuscripts efficiently, a specific review or decision timeframe cannot be guaranteed.

Article Processing Charge (APC): IDR 1,500,000.00

If a manuscript is accepted for publication, authors are required to pay an Article Processing Charge (APC) of IDR 1,500,000.00 to cover the costs associated with processing and publishing the manuscript. These costs may include editorial administration, peer-review management, copyediting, proofreading, typesetting, digital publication, DOI registration, website maintenance, and other publication-related services.

The Article Processing Charge applies only to manuscripts accepted for publication. Manuscript submission and editorial evaluation are free of charge. The APC supports the journal's efforts to maintain publication quality, accessibility, and the sustainable dissemination of scholarly research.

APC Waiver and Financial Assistance

JCMTS recognizes that not all authors have sufficient funding to cover the Article Processing Charge. Authors who do not have the financial resources to pay the APC may request a full or partial waiver, subject to the journal's waiver policy and approval. The journal does not want publication fees to prevent the publication of valuable and scientifically sound research.

Requests for an APC waiver should be submitted to the editorial office with an explanation of the author's financial circumstances. Each request will be considered fairly and individually. An approved waiver means that the applicable Article Processing Charge will be reduced or waived in accordance with the journal's decision.

Free Access to Published Articles

All articles published in JCMTS are made available to readers worldwide under the journal's open-access policy and the applicable Creative Commons license. Readers can access, read, download, and share published articles free of charge, subject to the terms of the applicable license.

The journal is committed to promoting the broad dissemination of scholarly knowledge by ensuring that published research remains freely accessible to the global academic community. However, free access for readers does not automatically mean that the Article Processing Charge is waived for authors whose manuscripts are accepted for publication.

Donations and Financial Support

Although manuscript submission and fast-track review are free of charge, JCMTS welcomes voluntary donations from individuals, institutions, and other supporters to help cover operational expenses, including website maintenance, DOI registration fees, and administrative processes.

All donations are voluntary and are not a requirement for manuscript submission, peer review, editorial decisions, or publication. Donations do not influence editorial decisions or the acceptance or rejection of manuscripts.

JCMTS remains committed to transparency in publication fees, equitable opportunities for authors, and the dissemination of scholarly research through an accessible and sustainable publishing model.
