WRITING GUIDELINES
General requirements
- The manuscript is written in Indonesian or English in accordance with the specified format.
- The author sends the script in the form of soft files through https://ympn.co.id/index.php/JCMTS
- Submitted manuscripts have never been published in other media as evidenced by a written statement signed by the author that the manuscript has never been published. The statement is attached to the text. (An example of a statement letter must never be published in other media) (Originality Form)
General Guidelines
- The manuscript is typed using Book Antiqua, spacing of 1 space, Book Antiqua measuring 10 points, left margin 4 cm, and the top, right and bottom margins of 3 cm each.
- Each page is numbered consecutively.
- Manuscripts are written 6-15 pages including bibliography, and attachments. Order of Manuscript (proposal: 10-15 pages)
- The research paper consists of the Title, Author's Name, Abstract, Introduction, Method, Results and Discussion, Conclusions and Suggestions, and Bibliography.
- The title is written in a short, specific, and informative manner which describes the contents of the script for a maximum of 15 words. The title is written not in capital letters with Book Antiqua font size of 14 points, bold, a distance of one space, and located in the left without dots.
- The author's name is written in full without title
- The abstract is written in one paragraph with no more than 300 words using Indonesian and English. The abstract contains a brief description of the objectives, materials, methods, main results, and conclusions written in one space.
- Keywords are maximum 6 (six) words, one space after the abstract, separated by semi-colon (;).
- References
Only includes references referred to in the text and written alphabetically based on the initial letters of the first author's name. If in the form of a book, include the names of all authors, years, titles, editions, publishers, and places. If in the form of a journal, include the author's name, year, title of the article, journal name, volume, publication number, and page. If taking an article in a book, include the author's name, year, title of the article, editor, title of the book, publisher, and place.
Article Provisions
- The title must be specific, effective and informative. No more than 15 words.
- Author's identity. This includes names without academic degrees; affiliation and address; and email address.
- Abstract. It is written from 150 to 300 words. Abstract is not a summary consisting of paragraphs. This includes research objectives, data / research objects, method, results or conclusions.
- Keywords. This reflects the concepts / research variables written between three to six words.
- Introduction. This includes study background, motivation/purpose in writing papers, theory, research objectives including prior research, reference journals, and thought flow charts (conceptual framework; if any) must be written in paragraphs.
- Results and Discussion. This section must describe the informative results of empirical research that is written systematically and critically. Tables and figures can be presented in this section to support discussion, for example, statistics-test results tables, model test results figures, and others. Discussion of results must be argumentative and must show how the findings, theories, previous research, and empirical facts are relevant and contribute something new to the knowledge of economic development.
- Conclusion. It must describe the results of a short and clear study, contributions to new theories, and new ideas for future research. Here, theoretical and practical implications must be written in paragraphs.
- Reference. Data, information, and citations must be from the past 10 years, 80% of citations written in papers must be from primary sources originating from national and international research. The more primary references the paper has, the more quality the paper is. The manuscript is written using a standard quote application (Mendeley / Endnote / Zotero). APA style references must be used. Make sure that references are referred to on paper and arrange them alphabetically.
- Total pages 10-15 pages, including bibliography and attachments.
